The Haig Glacier is home to one of Canada's most unique ski-training locations. With support from Calgary's "Winsport" organization, athletes use a set of high-altitude huts as a basecamp for ski training on the nearby Haig Glacier. Here, they use the permanent snowpack to access winter-like training in the summer.
